Finally decided to pick up A Feast for Crows...
Honestly, it’s hard to follow up after A Storm of Swords. That book was just a page turner. It kept you on the edge of your seat.. this one? Not so much.
I got really turned off by the fact that there were SO many new characters introduced, so every time one of the new character POV’s came up I would literally “ugh.” and close the book. I’m trying not to do that now!...
Are any of my followers here going to NYCC this...

Finally continued reading after like.. a month hiatus. I was very skeptical about the new character POV’s but I really do like Victarion and Aeron’s. I also like Asha’s, but I haven’t been able to read too much on her yet. I’ll put more on my thoughts when I read a lot more (lol I only read 3 chapters but that’s because I started at like 1AM last night.. or this...
I made a Daenerys stencil, but she ended up looking Native American when I used all black ink. Then I tried it with yellow hair and now she just looks Asian.
..I might scrap the Daenerys stencil, only because it didn’t come out as well as I had hoped. I would much rather release something that looks like the actual character than not.

I’ve been busy with personal projects.

I really love her, she’s definitely my favorite character. I’m really excited about her point of view, especially now that she’s found Podrick Payne.

So I’m about 120 pages in A Feast for Crows and so far I like it. I’ve read two new character perspectives so far; Aeron “Damphair” Greyjoy and Areo Hotah. Just finished A Storm of Swords.
One word: Brilliant.
From start to finish, it was nothing but well paced and amazingly written. All of George’s books from what I’ve read are well written, but I felt as though this third book was just.. it just kept you on the edge of your seat from the beginning.

I’m back tracking for a second. When I read this chapter that described Cersei’s dress, there was something about the short description that made me want to make it.
