Finally decided to pick up A Feast for Crows again..

Honestly, it’s hard to follow up after A Storm of Swords. That book was just a page turner. It kept you on the edge of your seat.. this one? Not so much.

I got really turned off by the fact that there were SO many new characters introduced, so every time one of the new character POV’s came up I would literally “ugh.” and close the book. I’m trying not to do that now! It’s funny because I really do like the new characters, it’s just hard getting adjusted to them. But now I feel ok with continuing the book (finally)

Though what kept me going really was the fact that I wanted a chapter from Arya, Sansa (or shall I say Alayne), and Samwell. I hadn’t read theirs in way too many hundreds of pages, so that was my main motivation.

I think it’s kind of hilarious how Sam keeps bumping into the Stark kids. First Bran, now Arya? Though Sam doesn’t know it’s Arya yet. I’m going to only assume Rickon is next lol (what happened to that kid?! Well, if you know, obviously don’t tell haha) I feel bad for Brienne because she keeps getting leads too late, though that last one with Nimble Dick was just wrong in general. Though I truly do hope Brienne is able to find one of them.
