Just finished A Storm of Swords.

One word: Brilliant.

From start to finish, it was nothing but well paced and amazingly written. All of George’s books from what I’ve read are well written, but I felt as though this third book was just.. it just kept you on the edge of your seat from the beginning.

Jaime and Brienne.. love love love. I enjoyed the fact that they grew respect for each other with all the time they spent. When Jaime gave Brienne the sword, it was just the icing on the cake. It was a nice gesture, and I hope these 2 meet again. I also hope Brienne is able to find the girls.

Tyrion. TYRION KILLING TYWIN LANNISTER FDLJAFA Bad. Ass. So unexpected. I just wish people (the characters) liked Tyrion better. I wonder what he did to Shae.

Jon becoming Lord Commander is pretty spiffy. Samwell is so clever, I love it. I also kind of wished Sam told Jon about Bran and everyone, but he kept his promise.

Sansa.. LITTLEFINGER PUSHING LYSA OFF THE MOON DOOR. FDAJSAL I.. yes. I don’t know why, but I really like Petyr. I wish he had his own chapters, I really want to know what’s in his mind.

ARYA. I can’t wait to see where this takes her. “valar morghulis”

Poor Robb, I was actually kind of really sad that he was killed. That was seriously done in poor taste, and I don’t mean his death, I mean “The Red Wedding.” Like.. come on! Kill him the day after or something. But I. Love. It. And Catelyn. The poor thing, I can’t wait to read more on her in the next books if she’s even mentioned.

I also feel bad for Daenerys when she found out about Jorah.. I wonder if he’ll be with her again. She shouldn’t have let him go :( But I understand.

Davos. I like him, I just don’t have much to say on him. I like his chapters but nothing has really made me go WHAT
